We have had such a busy, magical week in Nursery, all inspired by the classic story Mr. Gumpy’s Outings. Our little adventurers brought the book to life by building their very own version of Mr. Gumpy’s boat using stickle bricks. They also loved getting hands-on with our sensory tray, using their fingers to trace winding pathways through the textures, and had so much fun role-playing as they carefully packed all the toy animals onto the boat for a big ride.
It was a milestone week for our Rising 4s as they took a very exciting trip to visit the Reception Class! The children got to explore what will be their brand-new classroom this September and spend some quality time with their new teachers. They had an absolute blast exploring the new space, and it was a wonderful, reassuring sneak peek into the big school adventures waiting for them.
