This week, our learning journey centred around the delightful book, You Can’t Take an Elephant on the Bus. The children fully immersed themselves in the story, bringing the characters to life through vibrant role-play and practicing their early mathematical skills by counting the animals on board. In addition to our story-based learning, the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring our beach sensory tray, which provided a fantastic hands-on experience and sparked lots of lovely conversations about the seaside.
The excitement continued with our Values Day celebrations, where the children had a wonderful time participating in a range of enriching, special workshops. They explored language and rhyme during an engaging session with Pep the Poet, discovered rhythm and sound with Milli Chapanda’s musical instruments, and connected with nature through some hands-on gardening with Mrs. Bailey.
