This week reception have been learning about Amelia Earhart. They’ve enjoyed learning about her history and how she became a pilot. As part of their learning the children have been collaborating and make their own plane in the classroom out of our construction materials and building on their oracy skills to discuss what she would have seen when flying around the world. They have also worked extremely hard writing more complex sentences and challenging themselves thinking of their own sentences to write.
