This week, our learning revolved around the wonderful story The Blue Balloon. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring creative arts by crafting their own paper-mache balloons, which they proudly painted bright blue once dry. Inspired by the book, they immersed themselves in shop role-play, buying and selling balloons using play coins and the cash till. It was wonderful to observe their growing social skills as they practiced patience and took turns during their play. In mathematics, our focus was on the number 3, with the children enthusiastically exploring their environment to collect and group sets of three identical objects.
